Hiker rescued after fall at Broga Hill
KAJANG: A 30-year-old woman has been rescued after she slipped and fell while heading down Broga Hill.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the woman sprained her right ankle as a result of the fall.
“We received a distress call at 10.53am and deployed a team to the site.
“The victim slipped and fell as she was coming down the hill,” he said in a statement on Thursday (Aug 24).
Ahmad Mukhlis said rescuers arrived at 11.12am and brought the victim down on a stretcher.
She was then handed over to medical personnel for treatment.
