19-Year-Old Japanese Volleyball Player Serves Up Good Looks And Wins Fans At The Asian Games

At the 19th Asian Games currently happening in Hangzhou, the cheers at the volleyball courts have been deafening.

And we suspect that part of the cheers were reserved for a certain good-looking spiker for the Japanese men’s volleyball team.

Meet 19-year-old Keiho Takahashi, who made his debut on the world stage at the Asian Games. The towering 1.93m-tall hunk went on to help defeat Qatar 3-1 for the bronze medal on Tuesday (Sep 26).

“He’s so handsome that he is scary!” read one comment with another saying that they “couldn’t concentrate on watching the game at all…” due to Keiho’s distractingly good looks.

Fervent fans have wasted no time in doing a quick background check on Keiho.

He was born on Oct 13, 2003, is of mixed heritage — his dad is Iranian and his mum, Japanese — and is currently an undergraduate at the prestigious Hosei University in Tokyo.

Hangzhou will not be the last time fans get to see this talented athlete in action. Keiho has qualified to compete next year at the World Volleyball Championship, Volleyball World Cup and the Olympics.
