Airline co-founder under observation for alleged dubious activities
KUALA LUMPUR: The co-founder of a local airline has been on the radar of authorities for the past two years for alleged dubious activities, including alleged scams and money laundering.
Datuk Allan Goh Hwan Hua, his wife Datin Neow Ean Lee and their son Goh Tze Han, who were remanded yesterday, are not only being investigated over the failure of the local airline but also for their alleged involvement with other companies linked to the senior Goh.
“They have been under observation for the past two years. The police are investigating activities involving the airline and his other companies,” said a source.
“There are many areas to explore, so investigators will scrutinise each company to investigate any offence.”

Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said Goh, 57, as well as his 55-year-old wife and 26-year-old son, were detained at their residence at about 5.30pm on Tuesday and have been remanded until Saturday.“We are investigating them under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.
“The remand application was conducted at the Jinjang central lockup, and we managed to obtain a four-day remand order,” he said.
Comm Ramli said he would not rule out the possibility of seizing the suspects’ assets as well as freezing their bank accounts.
“We are conducting thorough checks on their assets and bank accounts.
“As for seizing and freezing them, it will depend on the investigations, but we are definitely not ruling it out,” he said.
Comm Ramli said the department will also decide whether more arrests are necessary.
