Korean Actress Ha Ji-Won’s Belittled ‘Super Cow’ Drawing Was Sold For S$5K
Who is having the last laugh now?
Back in 2021, South Korean actress Ha Ji-won, 45, debuted a showcase of three drawings, which she called the ‘Super Cow’ series.
The Empress Ki actress shared that the series of abstract art work were meant to “express the characteristics of cattle with bright and intense colours and lines”. She also added that she “put positive energy in the cows with the hope that the world will become healthy soon.”
Many were quick to criticise the honestly… interesting art pieces then, with one even commenting, “My five-year-old can draw better.”
Guess what?
Last week, it was revealed that one of the much-panned pieces was sold for a whopping 5mill won (S$5.1K) back in 2021.
Netizens were back at it again, with similar comments from three years ago.
We think there is more art to come from Ji-won, looking at an Instagram post where she can be seen surrounded by other works in her studio.
