HK Singer G.E.M. Falls On Stage During The Opening Night Of World Tour In Guangzhou
Though it looked like a painful fall, the 32-year-old singer didn’t seem affected and went on to finish the performance.
Concertgoers to Hong Kong singer G.E.M.’s opening night of her ‘G.E.M. I AM GLORIA’ World Tour in Guangzhou, China last week saw her take a tumble on stage.
Dressed in what looked like a wedding gown with scorched marks, the 32-year-old singer was said to have tripped after stepping onto her long skirt. The collective gasp of 30,000 fans after seeing her stumble could be heard in the video .
Thankfully, G.E.M. didn’t fall from too high a height, and a nearby staffer was seen immediately helping her up, while ensuring she suffered no injuries.
The seasoned performer seemed unperturbed by the incident and simply stood up to continue with a performance of ‘Amazing Grace’.
Later in the concert, she addressed the accident with a smile saying, “More than 30,000 people just watched me fall there. But as long you have light, you can fall and still stand up. That is the most important thing.”
We are just glad she is fine.
