We march on despite challenges, says Dr Wee
PETALING JAYA: The beginning of 2024 can be seen to mark a year full of challenges, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
“Some are complaining and many are sweating,” said Dr Wee in a video posted on TikTok on Wednesday (Jan 17).
“I read a summary of the challenges that have to be overcome for the year,” he added.
The MCA president expressed his concern for people wondering if they can breathe through all the increases, with new taxes and subsidy withdrawals coming at the same time.
He then said that the journey of life has to continue and all critical tests have to be shouldered.
“I hope that the government can help alleviate the people’s misery and wish the country the best for continued progress,” added Dr Wee.
