Taiwanese Singer Huang Pin Yuan Marries Russian Pianist In Beijing

Taiwanese singer Huang Pin Yuan, 55, tied the knot for the second time when he wed Russian pianist Alina Gorshenina in a grand ceremony in Beijing on Mar 8. 

On the day of the wedding, Pin Yuan took to Weibo to announce his nuptials and thanked everyone for their blessings.

He also posted a video of Alina performing, sharing that she is a classical pianist with a PhD.

According to her LinkedIn page, she used to study at the Moscow State Conservatory.

Snaps from the wedding banquet have since made the rounds online.

The venue was adorned with romantic-looking blooms, with a stage and piano for the newlyweds to perform.

According to reports, Pin Yuan serenaded his bride with ‘You Will Never Get Lonely Anymore’.

Celeb pals who were spotted in attendance include Chinese singer Henry Huo and Richie Ren, who made a surprise appearance at the wedding. He even took to the stage to perform Pin Yuan’s hit song ‘Xiao Wei’.

Richie was initially unable to make it for the celebration as it clashed with his concert tour, but somehow things changed.

“I was so touched!” said Pin Yuan.

“It’s such an important occasion for you, so I must be here,” said Richie. “Pin Yuan is probably my closest friend in showbiz. We really grew up wearing the same pants, being in the agency, and then sleeping in bunk beds in the army, and also performed together.”

Pin Yuan was previously married to former singer Mi’er for 18 years.

They split in 2013 following rumours that he had an affair with a 19-year-old model.

The couple have two kids, son Huai-Te, 26, and 20-year-old daughter, budding singer Edelyn.
