Much has been said about Hong Kong movie superstar Tony Leung and his social anxiety.

The 61-year-old previously shared that he gets nervous when meeting people for the first time and feels helpless in crowds.

That couldn’t be more evident when he attended the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild Awards last week.

Tony had just won Best Actor for his role in The Goldfinger, and everyone wanted a piece of him. Which is basically a nightmare for the notoriously shy Tony.

Hong Kong Cantopop group P1X3L managed to snag a pic with Tony and shared the snap on Instagram.

And let’s just say it’s meme gold. 

In the pic, the socially awkward Tony wore his go-to stiff, forced smile with his hands clasped uneasily in front of him.

Netizens were super tickled by this expression and pose, with many commenting that his social anxiety must have acted up when Carina wasn’t by his side.
