Hong Kong singer Alex To is currently on a multi-city concert tour and his show last Saturday (May 18) at the Taipei Arena left a huge impression.
While performing his 2004 hit ‘Take Off’, Alex, 62, stripped down to a pair of hot pants, eliciting an uptick of cheers from the audience.
Though the singer taking it down to his undies to this song is nothing new, it seems Alex has leaned out quite a bit.
Alex’s screaming fans no doubt approved of the display of flesh, though many netizens didn’t quite enjoy the performance.
“His movements look very weird now, and he looks very skinny compared to his heyday when this song was first released,” read a comment.
Naturally, fans of Alex hit back at the criticism with a slew of responses, many saying they his performance of ‘Take It Off’ was not unexpected.
“Why are you so sour? He is already 62 and yet still looking so good and strong,” wrote a fan.
Another netizen also praised Alex for headlining the entire concert on his own without the use of guest singers.
This is far from the first time in recent years Alex has stripped down to his underwear for ‘Take Off’.
During a 2016 concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum, Alex was dressed in nothing but a pair of sparkly briefs and a pair of boots by the time the song was over.
