Kluang man loses RM2,000 after allegedly falling victim to ‘black magic’

KLUANG: A man in his 40s lost RM2,000 after allegedly becoming a victim of “pukau” (black magic) at a shop in Jalan Langsat here.

Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Bahrin Mohd Noh said the incident occurred on Sunday (May 19) at 4.30pm after an unknown man entered the premises.

“Based on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, the suspect can be seen wearing a black cap, a facemask, a black sling bag, short pants, and a brown T-shirt entering the shop.

“The victim then lodged a police report after noticing that he had lost money inside his shop; investigations are ongoing,” he said in a statement here Tuesday (May 21).
