The Sabah government was represented by the state AG Datuk Nor Asiah Mohd Yusof and legal advisor to the state government Datuk Brenndon Keith Soh.

The amended statements which were considered to be misguided by the previous counsel representing the state in the case of Tengku Datuk Fuad Ahmad triggered public and political backlash.

It was learned that the state government had also terminated Fuad’s services in the case.

SLS immediate past president Datuk Roger Chin said they will release a statement on the matter later on Friday (May 24).
