Taiwanese Actor Ouyang Long Kissing Daughter Nini On The Lips At Her Engagement Party Has Netizens Feeling Uncomfortable

After five years of dating, Taiwanese actress Ouyang Nini and actor Bryan Chang announced their engagement last Saturday (June 29).

But it seems the joyous occasion, which was attended by the couple’s friends and family, including her actress-sister Ouyang Nana, was marred by a somewhat awkward incident.

You know, like when a drunk uncle does something embarrassing at a wedding banquet?

This time, it was Nini’s dad, Taiwanese actor Ouyang Long, who got people talking when he proceeded to shower kisses on his daughter, even planting one on her lips.

Talk about overshadowing the happy couple.

Guests probably felt uncomfortable by the sight and one was even overheard saying, “She’s [belongs] to someone else.”

We are guessing Ouyang Long thinks that wasn’t an issue since he has parental rights.

Netizens had a field day airing their disgust in the comments after the video was posted online.

“I know that’s her dad, but I still can’t accept it,” wrote a netizen while another said “I can’t accept it whenever I see parents kissing their children on the mouth, whether it’s on the streets or online.”

One even wondered if this means Nini’s fiancé, Bryan, often kisses his now father-in-law indirectly.

However, some didn’t see anything wrong with the act which they say stems from his love for his daughter.

“Every family is different,” wrote a netizen while others pointed out examples like British footballer David Beckham who has been photographed kissing his kids on the lips without any online blowback.

“As long as she [Nini] is alright, who are we to react?” read one comment.
