Wife Of Song Joong Ki Pregnant Again One Year After Welcoming Son; Some Netizens Think It’s Too Soon

Just a year after welcoming their son, Korean star Song Joong Ki, 38, and wife, British former actress Katy Louise Saunders, 39, have another baby on the way.

The actor’s agency HighZiumStudio shared the good news yesterday (Jul 8), saying that Katy is pregnant again and that she is focusing on prenatal care.

It did not reveal the baby’s gender or due date, saying it is a private matter.

According to Korean media, as the pregnancy has reached a stable period, the couple has been sharing the joy with friends and family.

While fans were delighted at the pregnancy news, some felt that Joong Ki and wife are having another baby too soon.

“A mother needs at least two years to recover after giving birth, otherwise it’s harmful to her health,” commented one concerned netizen.

Another echoed her sentiments, saying “the gap [between pregnancies] is too short, and that Joong Ki must “really want children”.

Many were also curious as to where Katy, who delivered their son in her hometown of Rome, will give birth to their second child.
