M’sian Singer Michael Wong, 54, Flashes His Surprisingly Ripped Bod At Concert
Fans of Malaysian singer Michael Wong, better known as Guang Liang, saw a very different side of the star at his Wuhan concert last week.
Michael was performing ‘Holding On To Your Hand’ when fans egged him to take off his top.
The request was not exactly random.
When the singer, who turns 54 on Aug 30, made a guest appearance at Taiwanese rock band Mayday’s recent concert in the Chinese city of Taiyuan, frontman Ashin revealed that Michael had “gained a lot of muscles”. So when the audience chanted “take it off”, Michael shyly gave fans a peek at his ripped bod.
This time at his Wuhan concert, Michael didn’t need much convincing.
He gamely removed his top, revealing a see-through shirt underneath.
He tried to be modest by saying: “It’s very strange to be on stage like this,” but continued posing and flexing for the crowd.
He even teased fans by lifting his top to give them a clearer view of his chiselled bod.
If you have it, flaunt it, right?
When Michael shared the snaps later on social media, his thirsty fans left comments like: “Wow, such an amazing physique,” “I doubt anyone was actually listening to the song,” and “Oh dear, I’m blushing.”
One cheeky fan asked: “Suddenly so sexy. Are you in love?”
There were also complaints about his “unfair” treatment to fans.
A Malaysian netizen exclaimed: “Walau, no such benefit at the hometown concert!” while another said: “This is too much! Ipoh folks are not happy.”
A Taiwan fan also requested he wear the same outfit at his Taipei show.
