Woman In BKK Rides Motorised Luggage On The Road To Airport

Frequent travellers to Bangkok would know how nightmarish the traffic there can be.

Enter this lady, who has gone viral for using her ingenious method to beat the traffic.

A clip, filmed and shared by a passenger in a car, sees the lady riding on a pink motorised luggage on the road heading towards Don Mueang International Airport.

Attached to the back of her unconventional ride was a larger luggage.

Throughout the clip, the lady was seen with her handphone in one hand, completely unbothered by her surroundings. She was also seen expertly weaving her way through traffic like a motorcycle.

Some netizens shared that the model of motorised luggage she used weighs 9kg and can withstand weights of up to 110kg. The luggage can also be programmed to move at high speed and can travel a distance of around 6-8km.

While many were amused by her method of getting to the airport, some also wondered if she would be able to pass through immigration with the luggage, given that its battery might exceed regulations.

They were also concerned that the luggage would not be the safest mode of transport when she’s on the highway. Also, her using the phone was also deemed “dangerous” and “reckless”.

“Did she get to the airport in one piece yet?” read one of many cheeky comments left by netizens.
