Chinese Company To Give All 100 Staff An iPhone 16 Pro… Even Interns

So much better than just giving their employees stress.

Ever heard of job perks?

China-based media company Mediastorm has definitely taken these perks to the next level.

A screenshot of the CEO of Mediastorm’s text to his employees has recently gone viral on Chinese social media sites with almost 14 mil views.

It read: “As usual, everyone will be given an iPhone16 Pro. It doesn’t matter if you’re an intern or a new hire, as long as you’re with the company at this time, you’ll receive one. The company will also be covering any related taxes, don’t worry.”

Yes, you read that right. Every Mediastorm employee will be receiving an iPhone 16 Pro once it’s available on the market come September 20. The new Apple iPhone series was just launched yesterday (Sep 10), and the Pro model costs upwards of S$1,599.

It means this staff benefit will cost the company at least S$159K, if anyone is keeping count.

With that said, this isn’t the first time the company is giving out iPhones to their staff. In fact, they’ve done the same thing for three consecutive years.

Employees were given the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022, and the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023.

In a clip posted last year, apart from the iPhone, the staff were also seen receiving a care package made up of tech gadgets, snacks to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, and apparel.

Mediastorm’s employee-run YouTube channel StormCrew regularly shares videos of the staff participating in challenges where they stand to win gadgets and cash prizes.

Many netizens have since expressed their envy.

“How do I get a job with this company?” read a popular comment, while another joked: “I also own the same… box.”

Are you jealous yet?

Employees were also given the iPhone 15 Pro last year. Now… are they hiring?
