Punching bag, PS5 among more than 700 items seized from Datuk Seri Vida’s house, marked for auction

PETALING JAYA: From a punching bag to a Kawai piano, a total of 727 items belonging to controversial businesswoman Datuk Seri Vida have been seized and marked for auction to settle an outstanding debt of RM1,060,285 owed to Ah Design Communication.

Other notable items include several sofas – including two four-seater sofas, a few chandeliers, sofa pillows, a standing clock, a PlayStation Five, a Nintendo Switch, gaming tables, a treadmill and a spin bike, a DSLR camera and dozens of flowerpots.

There are also four cars on the list – three Toyota Vellfire and BMW.

The seizure process took place at her Meru Heights bungalow last Monday (Nov 25) and lasted approximately five hours.

It was conducted in the presence of the plaintiff, Mohammad Taufik Kamarul, and lawyer Samir Zainal, with police present to oversee the proceedings.

According to mStar on Thursday (Nov 28), the house was thoroughly inspected to identify valuables suitable for auction.

Vida, whose real name is Hasmiza Othman, 53, was reportedly overseas at the time of the operation.

The auction will proceed if she fails to settle the debt within 14 days.
