Hannah Quinlivan Said To Be Renting Her Apartment To Prince Chiu & Brother For Free Since 2021
Six years ago, Hannah Quinlivan, 31, aka the wife of Mandopop King Jay Chou, bought an apartment in Taipei’s Neihu district for TW$50mil (S$2.07mil).
Hannah reportedly got the house so her mother, Violet Wu, would have a place to reside in when she moves to Taipei from Australia.
However, as Violet did not make the big move to Taipei eventually, Hannah ended up renting the place out to Taiwanese star Prince Chiu, 35, and his younger brother Modi, 34, in 2021.
Hannah and Prince became friends more than a decade ago when the former was still just a cast member on Taiwanese variety show Blackie’s Teenage Club.
She reportedly offered to lease her apartment to him when she found out that he was looking for a place to stay.
But here’s the twist.
Even though the brothers, together with their mum, are said to be ‘renting’ Hannah’s place, reports recently claim that they have actually been living there for free.
The brothers allegedly only have to pay for water and electrical bills as well as management fees for the apartment.
The building is also said to have an infinity pool at its top floor.
And since the rental fees of the apartments in that area are said to be approximately TW$180K per month, this means that Prince and Modi essentially saved close to TW$8.64mil (S$359K) in the past four years.
Don’t you just wish you have a friend like Hannah now?
