If you think your company offers good rewards for outstanding performance, this story might make you think twice.
Malaysian TikTok user Kaktiii recently shared a video of the prize-giving ceremony at her company’s annual dinner.
Her employer JRM Holistik, which sells healthcare products, had rewards for its top-performers.
One employee was seen receiving a bungalow worth RM800K (S$$242K). Another was given a RM430K (S$132K) double-storey terrace.
Other employees also won a RM50K (S$15.2K) Perodua Myvi car, a RM10K (S$3,034) luxury bedroom set, and an all-expenses paid trip to Umrah.
Kaktii would later reply in a comment that she was in fact one of those who won a house.
She stressed that her company is neither a multi-level marketing nor an insurance company, and that the rewards were based on an employee’s performances and “not a lucky draw”.
