Sunway TES students score top honours on global stage

Reflecting on her incredible feat, Siti Sarah described the moment as surreal.
“I was speechless. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and very pleased with the achievement. It motivated me even more to strive for excellence in my academic journey,” she shared.
Siti Sarah achieved outstanding results in the 2024 ICAEW exams, earning the Top in the World title.

Lin scored a remarkable 100% for Financial Accounting and Reporting in the professional level modules.
“I strongly believe that achieving success starts with setting a clear goal and fully committing to it,” he shared, adding that he left the exam hall with complete confidence in his performance.
Lin praised the ICAEW syllabus for its practical, hands-on approach, preparing students to apply their knowledge effectively in professional settings.
“Not only are we learning something new, but we’re also learning how to apply that knowledge through real-world examples. This ensures that when we graduate, we’re ready to excel in the workplace,” Lin explained.
Another exceptional Sunway TES student, Tricia Chong Ruo Shin, shares a similar story of triumph.
She secured joint first place for the prestigious Howitt prize for professional level Financial Management with an impressive 98% score in June 2024 and was also named first place in the ICAEW CFAB Annual Order of Merit 2023.
“I was absolutely surprised and blown away. It was something I wished for, but experiencing it firsthand was one of the most fulfilling moments of my ICAEW journey,” she remarked.
