Lay Zhang Has Wardrobe Malfunction During Musical Rehearsal; Fans Say How He Handled It Was “Too Cute”

How loose does a person’s pants have to be for it to slip down entirely?

That’s a question only Chinese singer Lay Zhang can answer.

Recently, the 33-year-old EXO member was rehearsing for his upcoming musical The Summoning of Dunhuang when he dealt with a really embarrassing moment.

In a video that has gone viral, Lay was practising his lines and singing on stage when he suddenly looked down to see his baggy grey pants dropping.

Thankfully, the singer had another pair of black pants underneath (why though?), which prevented him from flashing the crowd.

Still, the visibly mortified star tried to play it cool and started darting his eyes around while slowly pulling his pants up. He then turned his back to the camera to adjust and button up his pants.

While some laughed that Lay’s encounter was definitely a “huge public humiliation”, many have praised the star for dealing with the situation so calmly.

His fans even remarked that his reaction when handling the emergency was “too cute”.

“He was obviously so awkward but persevered to finish his performance. He’s too professional,” raved one such supporter.

Another also gushed: “Such realistic clumsiness actually makes people like him more!”
