MMU’s appeal lies not only in its diverse academic offerings but also in its integration of industrial training.

The university currently offers programmes across six fields in business and accounting, engineering, information science and technology, creative multimedia and cinematic arts, strategic communication and law.

From foundation, diploma, undergraduate to postgraduate programmes, there is a course that meets the needs of school leavers while addressing the evolving needs of various industries.

A holistic curriculum is at the heart of MMU’s mission to inquire, inspire and innovate. Students also get to enjoy hands-on training in industry labs through MMU’s partners.

From Astro’s Visual Effects Lab to TM’s Innovation Hub, students are exposed to the latest tools and mentorship from top professionals, fulfilling its mission to be of global relevance and local impact.

MMU students enjoy strong industry connections with leading names like Google and Microsoft, alongside exciting inbound and outbound exchange opportunities.

They’re also part of a thriving alumni network of over 77,000 professionals — many of whom are making their mark in fields like animation, technology, and public policy.

Graduate employability excellence

MMU’s graduate employability reputation as Talentbank’s Employer’s Choice University for two consecutive years is a testament to the success of its pioneering curriculum.

On average, 98% of MMU’s graduates secure employment within six months upon graduation.

According to Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)’S Malaysia Digital Talent Study 2017, MMU graduates are most preferred by information technology (IT) industries in Malaysia, officially recognising the university as one of the best IT universities to study in Malaysia.
