Elusive Ex-TVB Star Kate Tsui’s Upcoming Jewellery Collection Has Fans All Excited: “She’s Been Working Hard All Along”

Ex-TVB actress Kate Tsui has been keeping herself busy, busy, busy.

In June this year, the 45-year-old retired actress made headlines again after her former co-star Raymond Lam described her as a “missing person”.

But thanks to the Internet, Kate was spotted at the Musée de l’Orangerie museum in Paris later that month. Photos at that time showed Kate decked out in a white dress, staring intently at an exhibit.

Now, it looks like she is finally ready to be back in the public eye again. Somewhat, at least.

A netizen recently came across a post shared by Hong Kong jewellery brand Ioksuroh which, to their surprise, featured a side-profile photo of Kate.

There was also a signed handwritten message from the actress that read: “Staying young means being willing to learn, evolve, and be open to life. Thank you!”.

That quickly let fans to guess that Kate is having a collaboration with Ioksuroh. After all, back in 2017, Kate did invest a seven-figure sum to start her own jewellery brand, “Kate Tsui,” and even debuted her first original collection as a designer.

One netizen then commented: “Where can I buy Kate’s jewellery? I really miss her.”

The brand eventually replied to the fan, stating that their new collection, ‘Rabbit Duck Illusion 2’, is tentatively set to launch between September and November. Each piece will even come with a limited edition handwritten note and autograph from Kate.

Regarding pricing, the brand added: “The new collection is still being revised… We hope to release it around autumn.”

Nonetheless, fans were thrilled to see Kate back in action again.

Kate retired from showbiz back in 2019 to pursue a PhD in psychology in Europe. She had seemingly cut contact with most of her showbiz pals, including on-screen lover Ron Ng. The only person we know is in contact with her now is Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan.

“She’s really continued to pursue her passion,” one fan mused. Another fawned: “It feels like she’s been working hard all along.”
