Chinese Star Zhang Linghe Moved 5 Hotels In A Night To Escape Stalker Fans
Stephanie Chan2025-08-15T23:36:35+08:00Zhang Linghe, 27, best known for his roles in Love Between Fairy and Devil (2022), My Journey to You (2023), and The Princess Royal (2024), is one of the hottest actors in China right now.
Sadly, with immense popularity comes considerable inconvenience.
On Aug 8, Linghe arrived in Changsha, a day before he was set to appear at a public event.
He was stalked by obsessive fans, who found out which hotel he was staying at and went to share it on the internet.
It didn’t take long for his other fans to form a massive scrum outside the hotel.
One of Linghe’s stalker fans even managed to sneak into the hotel the day before his arrival and camped out in the store room for an entire night.
Linghe’s team had no choice but to move to another hotel. According to reports, they changed hotels five times that night.
A massive crowd had also gathered at the event venue ahead of Linghe’s appearance. Throngs of fans waited outside the building, resembling a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie.
One fan thought it would be a good idea to barge in only to get stopped by security. Her actions, however, caused chaos and the event was eventually cancelled.
Apparently, there was just not enough security to deal with the growing mob of excited fans and the situation was deemed unsafe by the organisers.
Linghe later addressed the incident in a post, writing: “It’s been hard on everyone. Safety comes first, see you next time.”
Happy now?
