Café Service Staff Seen Still Working Even While Hooked To An IV Drip

Most of us would head to the doctor when we are sick.

But one Chinese woman went viral after showing up for her café job… with an IV drip still hooked up to her left arm.

Seriously? She did not forget that it was there, right?

In a clip posted to Instagram, she is seen preparing what looks like milk tea with her right arm, while the IV drip dangles from her left.

But wait, here is what got us gagging.

She appeared to use the same cloth to wipe down the counter and the top of the drink.

According to media reports, she insisted on turning up to work to prevent the café from closing.

Admirable? Sure.

Hygienic? Not so much.

“I didn’t even notice the IV drip! But I definitely saw how she used that cloth,” one horrified netizen commented.

Another pointed out that the woman might be spreading the infection to the customers.

For everyone’s sake, it is still better to stay home, right?

This isn’t the first time someone has been caught with an IV drip while in public.

In 2023, a woman in Shanghai was spotted commuting on the subway while holding a bottle with an IV drip, like it was the latest designer bag.
