Jam Hsiao Splits Pants On Stage, Reveals Bright Red Undies

Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao’s performance at the Taipei Dome last week went viral — but not exactly for the reasons he was probably hoping.
The 38-year-old was a guest performer at a concert paying homage to retiring Taiwanese baseball legend and Wei Chuan Dragons star Lin Chih Sheng.
Things were going smoothly… until he got a little too into his performance of his second song, hit track ‘Princess’.
That’s when rippppp.
Jam’s trousers split open at the crotch, exposing a rather eye-catching pair of bright red undies.
The star yelled: “Ah! My pants ripped!” before carrying on like the seasoned pro he is, even dramatically ending the number by dropping to his knees.
Instead of rushing backstage to change, Jam tied his jacket around his waist and kept the show going.
Nothing, not even a wardrobe malfunction, was going to stop him.
As media weren’t allowed to film the concert, reporters turned to the next best source for snaps of the ripped pants: Jam’s wife and manager Summer Lin.
Ever the cheeky one, Summer obliged — posting a photo of her hubby’s poor, torn trousers on Instagram Stories.
Naturally, the snap went viral too, with media estimating the tear to be about 10cm long.
The funniest part? Jam’s mum, who was in the audience that night, thought the split was a planned gimmick.
After all, what are the odds his scarlet underwear just happened to match the Wei Chuan Dragons’ team colours?
