Four people were injured in an accident involving four vehicles on Jalan Meru Tambahan, Kampung Bukit Cerakah in Klang on Tuesday (Oct 21).

The collision involved a lorry carrying soil, a garbage truck and two cars.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said a team from Kapar Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 9.07am.

He said three foreign men and a 34-year-old local woman were injured in the incident.

“All victims had been removed from their vehicles before the fire brigade arrived,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

“They were then handed over to Health Ministry medical officers for further treatment,” he added.

He said the rescue operation was fully brought under control at approximately 9.45am.

A viral video circulating earlier showed a soil lorry believed to have lost control before ploughing into three other vehicles at a traffic light junction at the location.
