Ashin, leader of Taiwanese rock band Mayday, seems to be accident-prone lately.
The singer suffered another onstage scare on January 11 during the Chengdu stop of the F✦FOREVER Stellar City concert tour, with F4 members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou.
While performing the high-energy hit Leave The Earth’s Surface, Ashin, 50, was dancing and jumping along with the music when he accidentally got his foot caught on Vanness’ long jacket, causing him to lose his balance and falling backwards onto the stage.
The mishap drew gasps from the audience. Vanness was nearly pulled down in the process but managed to steady himself before reaching out to help Ashin back onto his feet.
The pair quickly recovered and continued the performance as if nothing had happened.
Thankfully, Ashin did not appear to suffer any visible injuries this time.
Still, the incident added to a growing list of accidents during the tour, prompting fans to urge the singer to take extra care and avoid overexerting himself.
At an earlier concert in Shanghai, Ashin appeared to misstep and fell off the edge of the stage, injuring his hand and leaving it bleeding.
Elsewhere during the concert run, Vic revealed that he had been feeling unwell due to gastroenteritis and completed much of the show seated.
He later expressed hope that everyone on stage would stay safe and complete the tour without further injuries.
