Benjamin Yuen’s 2-Mth-Old Son Draws Attention For Having “Bruises” All Over His Body

Don’t worry, there’s a perfectly harmless explanation behind them.

Hong Kong celebrity couple Benjamin Yuen, 44, and Bowie Cheung, 34, recently took to Instagram to share a sweet update on their two-month-old son, affectionately nicknamed Yuen Tong Tong.

In the clip, the adorable tot is seen enjoying some tummy time while mum cheers him on in the background, saying: “So awesome.”

“The baby is especially focused. His upper body is so strong — he held a half-plank position for a full 10 minutes. Mum was completely exhausted,” they wrote in the caption.

Pretty impressive for a two-month-old, right?

However, while many netizens were busy gushing over the baby’s strength, others zoomed in on something else entirely, the noticeable “bruises” covering his body.

Bluish-purple patches could be seen on the infant’s shoulders, armpits, both sides of his waist, down to his ankles, and even across his buttocks, prompting concern from some viewers.

Thankfully, one netizen was quick to reassure everyone, explaining that the marks, known as “Mongolian spots” are common birthmarks in newborns that usually fade as the child grows and often disappear by the time they’re three or four.

Benjamin and Bowie, who tied the knot in 2020, are also parents to a two-year-old son, Hayven.

He’s super cute!
