“Handsome”: Moka Fang On What Attracted Her To Husband Aaron Kwok

Who knew Chinese model Moka Fang aka Mrs Aaron Kwok is so humourous?

The 36-year-old recently made a guest appearance on Chinese variety show The Celebrity Show, and despite it being her first time on the variety circuit, she stole the spotlight with her wit and candidness.

She charmed the audience as soon as she made her introduction, dancing to Aaron’s hit song ‘Para Para Sakura’.

“Today is my variety show debut, but I’m not nervous at all because when I hear this song, I feel like my husband is right beside me,” she said.

Moka, who has two daughters Chantalle, six, and Charlotte, four, with Aaron, then went on to share about her family, saying their lives are “very ordinary”.

“The only thing that is not-so-ordinary is [her hubby’s] Mandarin,” eliciting laughs from the audience.

But being the wife of a Heavenly King is not easy, she said.

While many people were envious that she got to date Aaron, they “felt sorry” for her after they got married.

“And they do it by making up rumours about me,” she said matter-of-factly.

“Whenever we go out, I don’t know which way to walk. If I walk to close to him, they say I am too lowly. If I am too far, they say we are like strangers,” she lamented, before singing Aaron’s ‘Should I Walk Away Quietly’.

During the show, she also sang praises of Aaron, calling him a good son-in-law.

Moka pointed out that she has been financially independent since the age of 18 and that she continues to work not because Aaron is stingy, but to be a role model for her daughters.

“There were rumours about him being stingy and I can’t be bothered to explain for him. I just want to tell you that he’s scared that I would miss my parents. In order to let me focus on work, he brought my parents to Hong Kong to take care of them. You see, what a good son-in-law,” she said.

“It’s easy to spend money, but spending time together is the most important.”

When the host asked what is it that most attracted him to her, Moka replied without missing a beat: “Handsome.”

After the show aired, netizens praised Moka for doing great on her first variety show appearance and encouraged her to make more public appearances.
