Was Korean Star Hani Wrong For Dressing Casually To A Wedding?

How glam should one look as a wedding guest? For K-pop idol group, Hani, 31, the answer is not at all.
Hani, along with fellow EXID members Elly (LE) and Jeonghwa, recently attended a backup dancer’s wedding, and she took to Instagram to share snaps from the day.
While Elly wore a dress and grey coat, and Jeonghwa, a blue button-up shirt and brown skirt, Hani looked super casual in comparison.
She was dressed in a black pullover, baggy pants, and sneakers. She also barely had make-up on, leaving many netizens confused by her lack of effort for the special occasion.
“HANI. Why are you dressed like that?” read the most popular comment on her post, which as of press time, has garnered over a thousand likes.
Others were also tickled by her super laid-back look, with some saying she was serving “auntie” vibes.
“Are you going grocery shopping?” joked a netizen.
Some of her followers however, were supportive of her choice of outfit, saying that it “reflected her chill personality” and she “had the right to dress however she liked”.
“You look pretty no matter what you wear,” read a compliment.
