“No Interaction” Between Exes Huang Xiaoming & Angelababy During Disneyland Outing With Son

Some netizens think the family outing was staged to create news for Angelababy’s comeback.
Chinese stars Huang Xiaoming, 46, and Angelababy, 35, who divorced in January 2022, were seen in a rare outing with their seven-year-old son at Shanghai Disneyland during the May Day holiday last week.
Even before they announced their split, relations between the pair, who share custody of son, who goes by the nickname ‘Little Sponge’, have been few and far between.
It seems things are still frosty between them.
According to a Chinese paparazzo, not only did they appear to deliberately keep their distance at the theme park, there was “no interaction” between them.
When Little Sponge and Angelababy entered a store, Xiaoming would wait for them outside, noted the paparazzo.
And at the end of their excursion, Little Sponge left with Xiaoming, while Angelababy made her way home herself.
Snaps of the rare sighting of the family of three made the rounds on the internet yesterday (May 6) and quickly became a trending topic on Weibo.
Many netizens weighed in on their outing, calling it a “strange family reunion scene”. Some also speculated that it was staged.
One part that stood out was when Xiaoming, who was walking ahead of Angelababy, suddenly paused in his tracks, seemingly to wait for her and coincidentally in front of the camera.
“Why do I get the feeling like this was staged? Is Huang Xiaoming trying to help Angelababy [with her comeback]? They seem like they’re completing a task or pretending to look like they’re a harmonious family for their child,” a netizen commented.
