Wang Xiaofei Mocked For Wearing Same S$12K Leather Jacket As Kim Soo Hyun

Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei has made headlines for many things: his ailing businesses, cheating on ex-wife, Taiwanese star Barbie Hsu, when they were still married, and their messy legal battles.

We just never thought his fashion choices would be one of them.

In March, the 42-year-old became the talk of the town when he was photographed leaving a Taipei police station in a ratty-looking taupe tee after allegedly causing a commotion at Barbie’s home.

Netizens had plenty to say about his hobo look and even compared his distressed tee to “salted vegetables”.

Lest you think he was wearing a cheap tee, it’s actually from Saint Laurent and retails for S$810.

That’s probably why Xiaofei cleaned up nice when he appeared in court last week for one of his ongoing legal cases with Barbie.

He looked spiffy in a blue leather jacket, grey knit top, black spectacles, and slicked-back hair.

Sharp-eyed netizens also noticed that the bomber jacket is same as the one Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun’s character wore in hit K-drama Queen Of Tears.

According to reports, the jacket from French luxury menswear brand Berluti costs S$12.1K.

Netizens gave their two cents on who rocked it better, with most picking Soo Hyun.

‘Short arms, shoulders are not wide enough… can’t pull off the look,” said a netizen about Xiaofei’s OOTD, while others took the opportunity to mock him.
