Shu Qi Elbowed Out Of Pictures By Japanese Actress During Bulgari Fashion Show

Luxury Italian jewellery brand Bulgari threw quite the runway show on Monday (May 20), seeing Chinese stars Shu Qi and Liu Yifei turn up with the likes of Hollywood stars Anne Hathaway and Priyanka Chopra.
However, Chinese netizens who watched the show online didn’t quite like how Shu Qi and Yifei were seemingly treated and they went on to air their unhappiness on social media.
According to them, Shu Qi and Yifei were literally elbowed out of pictures by Japanese actress and fellow Bulgari ambassador, Hikari Mori.
Netizens said Hikari’s posture made the two Chinese actresses look like train passengers huddling together during the morning and evening rush hour.
Additionally, it looked like Hikari was constantly trying to put herself forward for photographers, practically elbowing the two Chinese actresses out of the frame.
We can’t say we blame her for wanting to stand out a little beside Shu Qi and Yifei.
That is not all. Hikari was also spotted rushing to stand beside Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin after the show ended, leaving barely enough room for Shu Qi to stand.
In fact, Shu Qi was seen nearly tripping on the small stage and was relegated to the step below, as if she were a supporting character at the event.
Netizens who saw everything go down on the live show wasted no time in criticising Hikari.
“Hikari was so rude to Shu Qi!” wrote one netizen, while another chastised the Japanese actress for her behaviour, saying she is not suitable to be an ambassador for Bulgari.
In what seems like a bid to soothe hurt feelings, Bulgari seemingly cropped out Hikari in group pictures posted to their socials. However, the original pictures can still be seen on Jean-Christophe’s Instagram.
Of course, Hikari’s fans spoke up after they noticed their idol being omitted. “Bulgari, aren’t your actions too obvious?” commented one fan.
What we want to know is why no one made a sound when Yifei was also seen almost tripping when standing next to Anne Hathway?
