PUTRAJAYA: From Oct 1, 2024, all foreign-registered vehicles entering Malaysia from Singapore will be required to use a Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) RFID tag, says Anthony Loke.

The Transport Minister says the RFID tag will cost RM10 for five years.

He said this would apply to the entry points at both the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex (BSI CIQ) and the CIQ Complex at the Sultan Abu Bakar building.
