Elderly man loses control and drives car into clinic in Sabah
KOTA KINABALU: An elderly man was hurt after his car crashed into a clinic at Taipan 2 in Inanam, near here, on Tuesday (July 2).
The 84-year-old injured his right hand and received first aid from firemen before he was sent to hospital by family members.
A 60-year-old woman who was sitting in the passenger seat, however, escaped unhurt.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department operations centre assistant chief Riki Mohan Singh Ramday said a team rushed to the scene after being alerted of the incident at 3.26pm.
“Upon arrival, they saw a car had hit the front side of the clinic. It was learnt that the man had lost control of the vehicle.
“Public had helped the two victims out of the car before firemen arrived,” said Riki Mohan.
