What do you think about a squat toilet replacing your fancy rain shower head?
Well, it seems the absurd idea isn’t that far off for a Chinese homeowner.
A netizen shared a video about visiting a friend’s bathroom and being greeted by a squat latrine attached to the ceiling.
And yes, for the sake of everyone’s sanity, it worked like any other rain shower head.
We guess it’s best one doesn’t look up while showering.
Though come to think of it, it might have been hilarious to see the water swirl before splashing down on whoever is showering.
With squat toilet bowls being comparatively cheaper (and less popular these days), we wonder if price was a consideration.
A quick check online revealed that rain shower heads start at a few hundred dollars all the way to a couple of thousands.
The humble squat toilet bowl was going for as low as S$68.
Some netizens also hilariously asked if there had been any “accidents” while showering.
Now, that is a very disturbing visual.
However, it seems some weren’t as perturbed by the odd sight, with some commenting in the post about how realistic the homeowner is.
“This will make cleaning the showerhead very easy!” read one comment.
Oh, really?
