Huang Xiaoming’s Ex Confirms She’s “Just Given Birth To A Child”; Baby Daddy’s Identity Remains A Mystery

Dramatic — that’s one word we’ll use to describe the relationship between Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming, 47, and his influencer ex-girlfriend, Ye Ke, 33.

The pair confirmed they were dating last September, but the announcement was met with public uproar due to the controversies surrounding Ye Ke. The couple were believed to have broken up just two months later, after netizens noticed that Xiaoming had deleted the post in which he announced their relationship.

Then in late 2024, Ye Ke was seen at a gynaecologist sporting a baby bump. It only served to fuel the already rampant speculations that Xiaoming and Ye Ke did not actually split, but had staged their break-up to protect the actor’s reputation.

In February this year, Ye Ke reportedly gave birth to a daughter in a private hospital in Shanghai. According to Chinese media, the baby was being taken care of by Xiaoming’s family. Ye Ke, on the other hand, completely retreated from the public eye.

After an eight-month hiatus, the influencer finally returned online last month. In true Ye Ke fashion, she held live streams where she sold products, and yapped… and yapped. Her comeback stream saw close to 200,000 viewers tuning in within the first few minutes.

While she initially avoided giving direct answers to questions about whether she had given birth, Ye Ke eventually confirmed the news in a stream earlier this month.

“For a 33-year-old woman who has just given birth to a child, I think I have kept myself in pretty good condition,” she said.

Although she did not confirm the date of her daughter’s birth nor reveal her baby daddy’s identity, given the timeline, many have assumed that Xiaoming is the father of her child.

The actor has yet to respond to the chatter.

Ye Ke, who also spoke to her followers about her “relaxing” daily routine, which basically consists of putting on face masks and sleeping, did not elaborate on her and Xiaoming’s current relationship status.

She did, however, mention their break-up, saying she and Xiaoming had split due to “practical reasons”.

She added: “After the separation, he has still left his mark on me. For example, he taught me about the principles of dealing with people and also taught me how to manage a business. These things will not disappear just because of our break-up, I will carry them with me forever.”
