Carman Lee, 59, Accused Of Stealing Passport By Immigration Officer In Thailand

First world problems for the most beautiful Xiao Long Nu.

We have heard of travellers being flagged at immigration for looking different from their passport photos, perhaps due to plastic surgery.

But Hong Kong actress Carman Lee was stuck at immigration in Thailand for different reason.

In a recent interview, the 59-year-old said a customs officer in Thailand questioned her after noticing her birth year – 1966 – on her passport.

“Is this your passport? Did you steal it? You don’t look your age!” he had demanded.

We guess looking as ageless as her Xiao Long Nu aka Little Dragon Girl character from Return of the Condor Heroes has its drawbacks.

While many would take it as a compliment, and Carman may be able to laugh about it now, she admitted she was terrified when it first happened.

The incident reportedly occurred earlier this month and Carman said she was “scared to death” and never expected that her looks would nearly keep her from entering the country.

Carman isn’t the only celeb whose looks had immigration officers taking a second look.

Hong Kong singer Gillian Chung was once detained by Germany’s airport authorities for well… being too pretty.

In the interview, Carman also shared how she maintained her looks and figure, saying she does strength training and cardio every day for the past 30 years.

Really? Just daily exercise?

An immigration officer in Thailand refused to believe that Carman Lee was 59, even accusing her of stealing her passport

With Carman looking like that at 59, can we blame the airport officer?

So how did Carman freeze her age like her Xiao Long Nu character?

Carman’s secret? Strength training and cardio everyday for the past 30 years
