CelcomDigi rolls out unified app, prompts subscribers to switch before year-end
CelcomDigi has launched its new unified app to replace the Celcom Life and MyDigi apps, urging customers to switch before the two apps are discontinued on Dec 31.
The company in a release today (Oct 7) said the new CelcomDigi app launch marks a major milestone in its post-merger integration.
“Going forward, the new app, which serves the largest customer base of over 20 million, will be the primary digital touchpoint for delivering seamless, personalised digital experiences at scale, reinforcing CelcomDigi’s commitment to building a truly integrated and customer-first journey,” the company said in a statement.
Celcom and Digi completed its merger in November 2022.
Acting chief executive officer Albern Murthy said the app is enhanced with new service features with AI technology for support and security.
“It delivers an experience that puts everything in the palm of your hand, giving you full control over your digital services and connectivity needs,” he added.
New features on the app include access to AI-powered support system AI-RA, a Daily Streak challenge to unlock rewards, and direct access to a dedicated Safety page where scam incidents can be reported with just a tap.
Starting today, CelcomDigi app users can also enjoy launch rewards such as a 100GB pass for RM1 (limited to one million passes), special rates for selected streaming services, and free roaming and IDD calls for 12 months (exclusively for postpaid customers).
The new app is available for download on Apple App Store and Google Play.
