Charlene Choi, 42, Is Apparently Dating A Fitness Coach Who’s 9 Years Younger… & He Is So Fit
“I want to keep some secrets,” Charlene gushed.
Back in May, Hong Kong star Joey Yung accidentally let slip that her showbiz bestie Charlene Choi had made up with her billionaire boyfriend, ‘Mahjong Prince’ Anthony Shi.
But in just a few months, it seems the 42-year-old Twins member may now have a relationship update.
It all started in August this year when Charlene was spotted with 33-year-old fitness trainer Elvis Lam at Hong Kong singer Terence Lam’s concert.
The event happened to fall on the Qixi Festival, aka Chinese Valentine’s Day, which sparked dating rumours between the two.
Hong Kong media now claim that romance between the two has gotten stable in recent months, adding that Charlene has already acknowledge Elvis’ status to her friends.
The couple is allegedly even co-parenting a cat after Charlene recently revealed that she has a new furry pal at home — a gray-and-white cat named Ah Boo Mui Mui.
Soon after, Elvis posted an Instagram Story holding the same cat and wrote: “I got a cat. Her name is Boo”. We mean, that’s obvious enough, right?
The speculations were further confirmed after Charlene was pressed by the media at an event yesterday (Nov 6).
She was initially asked if she would choose a Christmas gift for someone special.
“I’ll answer that question later (laughs). I want to keep some secrets,” replied Charlene.
The reporter then asked if there’s a secret “because [her] relationship has progressed”.
The star surprisingly did not deny it. “So clever, smart!” she chirped.
As for whether or not she’d make their relationship public in due time, the actress remained mysterious.
“Let it be! One day, one day, one day, but not today!,” she chirped.
Elvis is a well-known fitness trainer in the entertainment circle and is the co-founder of Gymtown Fitness in Hong Kong.
He apparently also helped to train Hong Kong singer Kenny Kwan for his concert. Kenny, coincidentally, is one of Charlene’s closest friends in the industry.
We wonder if Kenny is actually the one who matchmade the two?
