‘Bossku will not give up,’ says Najib’s son
PETALING JAYA: “Bossku will not give up,” says the son of Datuk Seri Najib Razak in a poignant post following the High Court’s decision to dismiss his father’s bid for house arrest.
“I know my father. Bossku will not give up. He will continue to fight, ” Datuk Mohd Nazifuddin Najib said in a Facebook post on Tuesday (Dec 23).
“However, as his child, with every obstacle and these prolonged trials, I cannot help but ask when all this will end? When will it ever be enough for them?”
He added that Monday was an immensely heartbreaking day for the family.
“Yesterday’s decision was deeply painful for me, not merely because of my father but because of what that decision represented.

“The decision implies that any royal decree or document holds no value unless it goes through a government process. This carries profound and far-reaching implications for the system we have long upheld,” he said.
Mohd Nazifuddin said he believed the addendum order was valid.
“My understanding … was that the Pardons Board merely serves an advisory role while the authority rests with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
“However, the message received was very clear. That authority now lies with the government, and without a government process, royal documents carry no value,” he added.
Mohd Nazifuddin thanked everyone who stood with the family.
“And to those who choose to rejoice and celebrate the decision, enjoy your greatest political victory – the downfall of an old government that built this nation to where it stands today.
“I believe the people are capable of judging for themselves. Just look at what is happening in Sabah,” he said.
