Jet Li Lets Daughter Pick His Outfit… And Give Him A Style Update

Jane Li, the 25-year-old daughter of martial arts icon Jet Li and ’90s screen goddess Nina Li Chi, is not just a rising star in social circles, but also one to watch in the fashion world, frequently spotted at fashion events and contributing to Hong Kong’s Vogue magazine.

She recently took on a new role: stylist to her famous dad.

In a light-hearted video captioned “My daughter picks my outfit” shared on Jet’s social media, Jane is seen raiding his closet to put together a daytime look for him. The clip has been winning over fans online.

“We’re going to start with the first closet and see if we find anything,” Jane says, before Jet jokes that most of his clothes are “more than 20 years old… maybe 25 — older than you.”

Unsurprisingly, Jet’s wardrobe sticks to his signature minimalist style and colour palette: dark tones.

“See, he wears one colour palette,” Jane observes, eventually deciding to stay true to his classic look.

The final look features a black shirt layered over a black tee, paired with dark green pants, sneakers and Jet’s trademark shades — complete with subtle green-and-black details that Jane says “really tied in the look”.

The video also revealed a surprising fact: Jet doesn’t own a belt. “If you want to sponsor a belt for him, we need belts,” Jane joked.

“I think I did good. But we’ll do better next time,” commented Jane on TikTok.

Fans seem to agree.

While one suggested Jane get her dad to try wearing white, something she admitted she’s never seen him do, others proposed spa days and facials.

“If you can convince him,” Jane replied.

Some netizens also thanked Jane for helping Jet navigate social media, with her giving credit where it’s due.
