Jiro Wang and Puff Kuo Wrap Up “Because I Like You”
Jiro Wang (汪東城) and Puff Kuo (郭雪芙) have recently wrapped up the filming of their new GTV drama Because I Like You <因為我喜歡你>, and they said they are actually looking forward to going back to their regular lives.
The Taiwanese drama stars Puff as a professional taekwondo fighter who dreams to participate in the Olympics. As she struggles to recover from an old injury, she is faced with the decision that she may have to rethink her career. Meanwhile, she meets a young CEO, portrayed by Jiro Wang, who has a fear of blood, the remnants of a tough childhood. It was a “depressing” role for Jiro, who struggled to remove himself from his character’s sad past. Now that filming is over, Jiro said he can finally become his happy self again.
Because I Like You is Puff first drama with Jiro. She described Jiro as a person who enjoys telling bad jokes, saying, “His jokes would actually make us go quiet.”
But like Jiro, Puff is also happy that the drama has completed filming, exclaiming that her taekwondo scenes were hard to do.
