Ruco Chan Does Not Mind Loss of Income
Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) attended the grand opening for a hair salon yesterday with his wife Phoebe Sin (單文柔). Ruco shared that he is pretty carefree with his hair, “I usually leave it to the hairstylist to deal with. As a man, life is a bit easier. I’m the type of person to not blow dry my hair after showering!”
When asked about his thoughts on the TVB Anniversary Gala, which was renamed Cherish Hong Kong, Distribute Entertainment TVB 52 Years <珍惜香港發放娛樂TVB 52年>, Ruco shared that he agrees with the name change in light of the current political tensions. He ultimately he hopes that they are able bring happiness to Hong Kong. “I wanted it to be a live show, but it was really hard to accommodate everyone’s schedules. With circumstances like this, it’s best to just have a simple show.”
With the ongoing unrest, there has been a financial impact in Hong Kong. When asked whether his income has also been affected, Ruco confirmed, “There has definitely been an impact, but I am also a part of Hong Kong. This is just a job, we need to stop focusing on the monetary aspect. The most important thing is for people to be happy, healthy, and to have a comfortable living environment. If you do not have the health to enjoy it, then it does not matter how much money you earn. It is important to strike a balance.”
