Fans Worried Over WJSN’s Xuanyi Following Godfrey Gao’s Passing
After the news of Godfrey Gao (高以翔)’s shocking death came to light recently, K-pop fans have shift their focus to WJSN (Cosmic Girls) member Xuanyi (宣仪)(선의).
The 35-year-old model-actor had passed away while filming on the set of Chinese variety show “Chase Me” (追我吧) on Wednesday (27th November); after suffering an apparent heart attack.
In this case, Xuanyi was also reportedly present at the venue. Ujungs (WJSN stans) as well as K-fans worldwide have in turn expressed their concern towards the girl group member after she changed her Weibo profile picture to all-black on Thursday (28th November). Additionally, sources claimed that she had left the shooting location at Ningbo on the day of Gao’s death and returned to Beijing with the other crew.
In addition, a video of Xuanyi during her stint on the show became the talk of the town recently following the unfortunate news. Based on the clip below, Xuanyi was seen having difficulty standing up. “Help me, I don’t have any strength left,” the 24-year-old said in the clip.
The staffs did not seem to bother in helping her though. As a result, fans have voiced out their worry on Twitter – expressing their concern towards the Hainan-born K-pop idol. Check out the full clip and fans’ comments here:

For those who don’t know, the show “Chase Me” has been receiving backlash from everyone for their extremely dangerous contents as well as the crews’ unprofessionalism when it comes to handling safety matters.
