The “Nonsense Club” Goes On a Trip Sans Mandy Wong

Every year, the six girls of the “Nonsense Club” would go on an overseas trip together as a celebration of friendship and life. Last year, the girls including Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Selena Lee (李施嬅), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), and Paisley Wu (胡蓓蔚) visited Phuket, but Nancy Wu (胡定欣) was unable to attend due to work obligations. This year, the girls went on a trip as a five-girl band again, to the Maldives. Mandy couldn’t go because of her schedule.

Sharing photos from the trip on social media, the girls thanked each other for their company, expressing that they would always make time for each other despite their busy schedules. Myolie said, “I feel like I’m still dreaming about this mysterious place. It took us nearly a year to plan about coming to one of my most favorite places in the world. You can imagine how difficult it was for busy people like us to make time to come together.”

But even after visiting one of the world’s most desirable places, the trip was still one step away from perfect—there was no Mandy. “It was regrettable that we missed one other person,” said Myolie. “Can someone photoshop her next to Nancy?”

Selena said, “This was a trip that had been in the works for a year. Although not all of us could be together, I am still ten thousand times thankful.”

Paisley said, “Extremely thankful that I could spend Thanksgiving with my friends. We miss Mandy.”

Mandy replied, “You’re all having fun without me. I’m crying inside!”
