Ruby Lin’s Husband Wallace Huo Hung Out with Her Ex Jimmy Lin and Eddy Ou for Dragon Boat Festival
Here’s a quick throwback for all of you folks who remember these OG Taiwanese idols from your childhood. Remember Wallace Huo and Jimmy Lin? The pair were spotted hanging out together with pal Eddy Ou and enjoying the dragon boat holiday yesterday, even immortalising their little get together with a quick snap of everyone.
Must be nice to finally be able to get out and get see friends isn’t it. Equally nice to see Ruby Lin’s hubby getting along and hanging out with her ex boyfriend too. But then again these two have been friends for so many years now that I doubt their separate relationships with Ruby have affected their friendship.
To be fair, it’s been ages since Jimmy and Ruby dated. The pair met while filming for their teen drama School Days which came out in 1995 – that makes Jimmy around twenty one and Ruby nineteen at the time when they started going out. However, guess it just wasn’t meant to be because after just three years of dating, Jimmy broke up with Ruby! No one knew why until last year when he finally revealed that he got jealous of relationship rumours between Ruby and her My Fair Princess co-star Alec Su. Nonetheless, all’s good in the romance department for Jimmy since he married actress Kelly Chen with whom he now has three sons.
Meanwhile, after ten years of being “just friends” with each other, Wallace Huo married the love of his life in a beautiful ceremony in Bali held almost four years ago. I guess the pair didn’t want to waste any more time (they’ve waited ten years already) because they quickly tied the knot just a few months after getting together. The pair surely is the epitome of the term “whirlwind” because right after breezing through the dating and marriage phase, the couple became the happy parents of their baby girl just six months after getting hitched.
