Jackson Wang Working Hard to Achieve that “Mermaid Line”

Maintaining in career in both China and South Korea, GOT7’s Hong Kong member Jackson Wang (王嘉爾) is in currently on hiatus due to travel restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic. However, that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing new goals, including a fitness goal.

Debuting a shirtless look on the cover of SuperELLE, Jackson has been spending his time working out, building muscle to perfect his “mermaid line.” His personal studio, Team Wang, shared a shirtless photo of Jackson on social media, also writing, “To have pretty muscles with defined lines, you must learn to be disciplined.”

Jackson was almost 20 years old when he debuted as a GOT7 member in January 2014. Jackson was nowhere near “fat” when he debuted, but the pressure to look good and fit had inspired Jackson to develop a workout routine. He revealed that he dropped from 74 kg (165 lbs) to 58.2 kg (128 lbs). Jackson is 175 cm (5 foot 7) tall.

On the Chinese talk show Go Fridge <拜託了冰箱>, Jackson shared that his chest measured at 40 inches and his waist at 25 inches. It’s definitely a surprising number!
