Son Ye Jin Stars in New Rom-com, “39”
After the success of Korean drama Crash Landing on You, Son Ye Jin is in talks to star in a new drama 39 with Jeon Mi Do.
The romantic comedy revolves around the lives of two 39-year-old women and their challenges in their career and romance. Son Ye Jin plays the role of a dermatologist who grew up in a wealthy family, while Jeon Mi Do plays the role of a drama teacher. The drama will show the mature perspective of romance and life of women going into their 40s.
The drama is written by Yoo Young Ah who previously wrote 2016 hit drama, Entertainer, and directed Kim Sang Ho who directed Run On. Filming is set to begin in the second half of the year.
